It all began with a Christmas gift from my lovely sister — a simple bead set filled with clasps, hoops, and colorful beads. I’d always dreamed of creating something others could enjoy and of starting a small business of my own, though I wasn’t sure how or where to begin. That thoughtful gift was truly a blessing from the Lord above and the spark that started Homebody Beads.I began by crafting beaded earrings, then fell in love with polymer clay — a medium where creativity has no limits. From delicate florals to my best sellers, the Chicken n’ Boots earrings, I found joy in bringing playful ideas to life. My first year was full of learning and hesitation, my second year brought markets and connection, and by my third year, I had grown in confidence, sharing my art more proudly than ever before. Now, years later, I’m grateful for the countless kind souls who have supported and cherished my creations. If my 19-year-old self could see me now, she’d be overjoyed!
